Prevention or Cure?

The Benjamin Franklin axiom that “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” is as true today as it was when Franklin made the quote.

Every day we make decisions and choices to prevent injuries and accidents. We buckle our seat belts in the car, place helmets on children before they ride bikes, and wear gum shields for contact sport.

We plan to avoid hunger by shopping for groceries and planning meals.

We set alarms to prevent us from oversleeping and missing work.

Many people apply skin care rituals to prevent ageing or sun lotion to avoid getting burned.

What if we put this much effort into preventing sickness?

Most people don't consider the majority of their choices to be having an impact on their health. The same person who religiously checks the batteries in their smoke alarm will think nothing of picking up a can of soda.

The problem is that as a society, we tend to look at illness as 'bad luck' or 'bad genes' - as thought it's something we have no control over. But the truth is that you are making powerful choices every single day, towards better health or towards declining health.

This September we're launching our 'Seize the Season' 30 day education course through Facebook. It's a group of people, and coaches, working together to promote new healthy habits to help you kick start a healthier lifestyle.

Instead of reacting to illness this winter, why not try being proactive about your health? Addressing nutrient deficiencies and eating habits, reducing inflammation, practising mindfulness and creating healthy routines are just the start. Yes, it's a 30 day cleanse to restore your gut microbiome, but it's also so much more.

With daily health coaching videos and easy to follow meal plans, as well as hugely discounted supplements, isn't it time you invested in your health?

Early bird discount is available if you order before the 31st of August. £111 discount will be applied at the checkout.

It's time we pay attention and make a plan to beat the odds!
